Micro-needling Procedure

It is a procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. It is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores.

Upon penetrated of the needles, micro-wounds are created to which it triggers your body’s wound healing processes to heal your micro wounds immediately. However, the most dramatic results will not be visible until four to six weeks after treatment. It can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend starting with 3 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments.

Additionally, it should be avoided for people with active infections or open wounds until their skin heals before trying it.
